UAE’s New Logo Released

UAE’s New Logo for the next 50 years has been chosen and was unveiled by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The announcement was made through the twitter handle of Sheikh Mohammed, along with a video. This new logo will brand UAE as a Nation for the next 50 years.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid tweeted: "Today, my brother Mohammed bin Zayed and 49 Emirati creators launched the new visual media identity for the UAE, an identity that represents our map, our escalated ambitions, the seven emirates that are racing the world and seven founders who immortalised themselves in our history."

The winning logo, called ‘The 7 Lines’, is based on the colours of the UAE flag and the shape of the country.

The logo was chosen through public voting from among the 3 logo designs created by 49 Emirati Artists, from across the UAE. For every vote cast, the UAE pledged to plant a tree. 10 million votes from the residents of this country and people from all over the world will now make the planet greener with 10 million trees.
