Brainobrain’s most prestigious 5th International Abacus Competition Festival was held at Dubai on Saturday, 19th October 2019.
Visionaries say, if you want the world to be an abode of love and peace, start from the children. And on 19th October, Dubai’s Sheikh Rashid Auditorium witnessed kids from a multitude of countries sitting next to each other, shaking hands with each other and sharing a smile. It was a sight to behold! We had 2000+ kids from Ireland, Slovenia, Serbia, Cyprus, Croatia, Kosovo, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, India, Macedonia, Nigeria and Hungary, and from the various UAE Centres in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abudhabi, Al Ain & Fujeirah. Irrespective of the variety in their details, they all have come together to celebrate one emotion, one feeling, one sentiment, one love – that is, Brainobrain! Truly, oneness in diversity!
During the morning hours, the children took part in their 3-minute abacus competition. Results were announced at the Evening Session, on the same day. Mr Abdulla Hassan Ali Mohammed, First Officer, General Directorate of Residency & Foreigners Affairs - Ministry of Interior was the Chief Guest & Mr Sayed Burhan Al Hashemi, Managing Director – ASSHT was the Guest of Honour. The sight of joyful and confident kids marching on to the stage to receive their Awards, reinforces our belief that the future of our world is in safe hands.
Through more than a decade and a half of dedicated service to the society, Brainobrain now has a Global presence in 42 countries through a network of 975 centres worldwide. When a child joins Brainobrain Programme, little does the child knows the wings he or she attaches to himself. Its an experience beyond text books and the most beautiful example of this feat are our star-kids who came forward to practice, participate and perform in the International Competitions. Through Brainobrain each one of them sparkles up their skills and wings!
