48th UAE National Day

Almost 5 decades ago, major parts of the world had little idea about the Middle East. Today, there may not be a single person left on this planet without knowing the name ‘United Arab Emirates’. This is single enough to state the tremendous transformation of a country from mere sand dunes to become the world’s No.1.

The journey of UAE through 48 years might not have been an easy one. They built an empire, starting from the very scratch. There would have been thorns, stones and stumps, all along the way. But the visionary leaders stood strong, focused and united, with the single mission to place this country among the world’s best. It was on December 2nd 1971 that the 7 Emirates – Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abudhabi, Umm Al Quwain, Fujeirah & Ras al Khaimah – decided to pace ahead together as one entity – the United Arab Emirates!

We congratulate the Nation and its rulers on the 48th UAE National Day. Thankyou for being our inspiration and for showing us the true meaning of perseverance and persistence!
